Sony Jelly Bean Update for Several Xperia Phones Rolling Out Soon

Sony recently said that it’s in the final testing stages of an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for several of its Xperia-branded handsets. The company’s official Twitter account recently posted that the update will be available for the Xperia P, Xperia Go, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia acro S and the Xperia ion. It also said that it will provide more news on the updates next week.

We don’t know when the updates will actually arrive or whether they will hit all of the phones in the same time period or over the span of several months. We’ll keep you updated as Sony provides more information.
